Ramayana Ballet |
Sendratari Ramayana very famous in Yogyakarta. Sendratari Ramayana or also known as Ramayana Ballet is a show that combines drama and dance that lifts the story of Ramayana. Ramayana is a beautiful legend engraved on the wall of Siwa Temple, one of the temples at Prambanan temple complex. This performance is able to unite various Javanese arts such as dance, drama and music on one stage and one momentum to present the Ramayana story.
Sendratari Ramayana performed at night (only every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), supported by more than 200 professional dancers and musicians. There is a second stage used the outdoor stage with a background prambanan temple and the second is the indoor Tri Murti House. Indoor performances are held when the rainy season. The show begins at 7:30 PM. Existing facilities around the theater is the Prambanan Garden Restaurant restaurant, souvenir shop, food and beverages.
Synopsis
Starting from Dewi Sinta abduction by Ravana. King Rama assisted by the commander of the troops who invaded the kingdom of Hanuman Alengka and finally succeeded in freeing Dewi Sinta. The story revolves around the relationship of a king, brother and a good wife, and his followers. Gods, humans, giants, monkeys, and beautiful women all the dancing tell the story very interesting and well interspersed with scenes of combat kidnapping.
